Collection Use

Digital Collections

Digital images for lectures are available in Artstor.

Usage

Our collections of digital images, slides, and photographs are available for teaching, study and research by the Princeton University community. Our collection is hosted both on Almagest and Artstor, and we recommend users register and log into Artstor and search there first for any images they may need. Images may be used for classroom presentations. Reproduction and publication (including on the web) are regulated by copyright law and license agreements. Please see the Copyright and Images section for more information.

For additional resources for images to use in class, see Online Resources.

Those with specific research needs can make an appointment to visit Visual Resources or Research Photographs by emailing visres@princeton.edu.

Training

Training in using the collections is available for individuals and/or groups. Tutorials are also available.
